From The Archives: Flying The Legacy - Embraer's Bid To Redefine Mid-Size

This cover is one of two for the week of May 19, 2014. This cover shows the new Legacy 500 business jet by Embraer. 

The pilot report, on page 50, includes the aircraft specifications. Fred George, our pilot, wrote how he liked the large, uncluttered and easy-to-interpret flight displays in the flight deck. The aircraft seats eight people, has a flat floor and large windows. He said the aircraft was easy to fly inthe landing pattern all the way to touchdown.
